Working as a Home Based UK Territory Manager, you’ll be joining an experienced team focussed on developing our OEMs and Distributors, also taking responsibility for winning new customers, particularly within the mobile machinery sectors.

In return, you’ll receive an attractive package that includes a car allowance, discretionary profit share scheme, and if successful in this role you’ll have the opportunity to progress to a Business Development Manager role within 2 years.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and grow business with our OEM customers
  • Maintain and grow business through our authorised distributors
  • Plan and forecast future business
  • Find new OEM customers
  • Manage sales activities such as quotations, closures and attending major exhibitions/customers visits to increase customer base
  • Work with Marketing and BDM to assist with planning UK marketing comms for the year

Essential Candidate Skills & Experience

  • Background in engineering, specifically the fluid power industry
  • Degree in engineering or an equivalent qualification
  • Minimum of 5 years B2B technical sales experience
  • Excellent presentation, researching, writing and closing skills
  • Proficient networking, persuasion and prospecting skills (incl. developing cold contacts)
  • Desire to progress your career and to take on a leadership role in future
