Engineering Manager – Semiconductor Testing (ESD Environment)

Overview:
Osprey Engineering are exclusively retained to source an Engineering Manager to lead technical operations within a ESD semiconductor test house environment. The role will focus on managing the engineering team, supporting production performance, and ensuring high standards are maintained in a controlled ESD setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, develop, and support engineering team
  • Oversee engineering activities throughout the whole ESD testing process
  • Ensure ESD protocols and cleanroom standards are followed
  • Drive process improvements to improve efficiency, quality, and yield
  • Support equipment performance, maintenance planning, and troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with operations, quality, and the senior leadership team
  • Manage project delivery, timelines, and engineering resources
  • Promote a strong culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement

Requirements:

  • Experience in managing engineering teams within a semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing or test environment
  • Understanding of ESD or cleanroom environments
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, production, or equipment engineering
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Desirable:

  • Degree in Engineering or related technical field
  • Experience in semiconductor fabrication, assembly, or testing
  • Knowledge of quality standards and process control
