Senior Sales Engineer

We’re hiring for a global, industrial and mechatronics solution provider, searching for experienced Sales Engineers to take ownership of sales growth in their assigned region, for the company’s fluid connector division. Our client’s international presence spans across 50 countries, with a global workforce of 5,500, all committed to helping customers across a range of industrial sectors to increase their productivity.

As Senior Sales Engineer, you’ll take full responsibility for the sales and growth in your area, generating new and repeat business to meet and exceed targets.

You must have a minimum of 3 -5 years external Sales experience, and a HNC or higher in an engineering discipline.

Key Duties & Responsibilities 

• Develop and support new Customers within your geographic area across all sectors and industries
• Manage and develop existing Customer relationships, sales leads and projects
• Work with Customers on identifying problem areas, promoting either standard or bespoke solutions
• Create and implement a Sales development plan for the relevant geographic area
• Coordinate with the Internal Sales Team on a regular basis
• Update all Sales activities in the Company CRM system in a timely and accurate manner
• Work in collaboration with the relevant Market Specialist as and when required

Skills & Experience 

• Minimum requirement of HNC in an Engineering discipline
• Minimum of 3 -5 years external Sales experience
• Previous experience of selling direct into an Engineering/Manufacturing environment
• Experience selling solutions to End Users and OEM sectors, ideally from an ‘added value’ approach
• Ability to undertake Account Management and develop new Customers
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written, and confident communicating at all levels
