We’re looking for an experienced National Account Manager to join one of the largest and most respected manufacturers of trade, professional and industrial equipment, both throughout the UK and worldwide.

As one of the company’s National Account Managers, you’ll be responsible for developing business within your defined set of Accounts, maximising trading profit at the agreed percentage margins, by expanding and developing relationships to meet and exceed customer expectations.

Key Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Achieve annual sales and profit targets across your portfolio of customers
  • Generate and maintain a network of customer contacts by regularly meeting with customers
  • Set a Business Development plan annually with each customer contact
  • Host customer training, relationship building, and business meetings throughout the year
  • Generate a conveyor belt of innovation and activity with all customers
  • Advise the company of optimum pricing strategies to increase revenue and margins across the account portfolio
  • Advise and guide sales leadership on commercial opportunity, risk, sensitivity across the account portfolio
  • Manage customer credit control departments to ensure consistent timely payments
  • Lead the resolution of customer queries and disputes to avoid customer dissatisfaction or delayed payments
  • Provide appropriate Company personnel with timely reports regarding interaction with customer contacts
  • Submit reports to the Company as set out by the management team

Skills & Experience 

  • National Account Management experience
  • Experience working with industrial products
