Working as the company’s Market Sales Manager, you’ll take responsibility for enabling long term, profitable growth in the region, by acquiring new accounts, growing the sales pipeline and influencing stake holders to buy in to the ‘Electrification’ market trend.

You’re likely a great fit for this role if you’re a strategic thinker with strong negotiating skills, degree educated, and have the ability to take initiative to win new sales.

 

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Win new sales in target markets, aligned to the company’s five year growth plan
  • Generate market intelligence to facilitate strategic sales planning for the sales team, collaborating with other business divisions as required
  • Work closely with sales application engineers, account managers and sales managers to identify and leverage areas of new growth in existing accounts or markets
  • Manage time spent between virtual selling activities and face to face interactions with new prospects, bringing in appropriate support/management as required
  • Establish detailed plans for assigned market sales & lead work to maintain an up-to-date plan
  • Organize work to develop/maintain a regional growth plan and support teams in deployment
  • Interact with EMEA stakeholders to ensure best practise sharing and use of available sales collateral
  • Coordinate, develop and execute jointly constructed plans to acquire, nurture and handover new accounts

Required Skills & Experience

  • Significant sales experience with demonstrable new business sales achievements
  • University Degree in Business and/or Engineering
  • Strong relationship builder across senior/mid levels, both internally and externally
  • Strategic thinker, able to see market potentials and create compelling business cases to support investment in time/resource allocation
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams under tight deadlines
  • Motion & Control industry knowledge in terms of products, services, and key markets for UK&IRE
  • IT skills – Sales tools and general computer skills
  • Significant Leadership experience (either direct or indirect)
  • Ability to travel when required
