The Role

As Area Sales Manager, you’ll drive sales of our industrial products to current and prospective distributors across the South West, providing technical expertise and building lasting relationships. You’ll develop and execute a territory sales plan, launch new products, and maximise promotions to deliver sustainable growth.

What You’ll Own

• Generate high-quality leads, win new customers, and grow existing accounts within your territory
• Build a pipeline of new business and develop a clear individual business plan for where growth will come from
• Manage the full customer relationship — regular visits, meetings, and resolving queries or disputes
• Keep CRM records and reporting up to date
• Support credit control, ensuring customers pay on time
• Work closely with internal teams to maximise profitable business and efficiency

What We’re Looking For

• Relevant B2B sales experience working with local and national distribution partners
• A strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Confident negotiating pricing and building long-term customer relationships
• Product knowledge, ideally in the machinery sector, with strong market awareness
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset
