Area Sales Manager – Hydraulic Tooling

Location: Midlands (Field Based)

Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 basic + Car or Allowance + Commission + Benefits

About the Opportunity
A field-based sales role with a UK provider of hydraulic tooling company, selling into industrial sectors across the Midlands.

The Role
You will own and develop the Midlands sales territory — driving new business, expanding wallet share within existing accounts, and converting opportunities across OEMs, distributors and end-users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive regional sales of hydraulic tooling and bolting solutions
  • Develop new business across target industrial sectors
  • Manage and grow distributor and key account relationships
  • Conduct site visits, product demonstrations and technical consultations
  • Prepare quotations, negotiate terms and close orders
  • Report on pipeline, territory performance and competitor activity

Candidate Profile

  • Proven external/field sales experience within hydraulics, industrial tooling or engineered products
  • Confident in both new business development and account management
  • Technically minded with ability to discuss engineered solutions
  • Professional, commercially driven and comfortable with travel across territory
