Joining an established team who work with well-established customers in multiple industry sectors, you’ll be exercising your outstanding customer service skills to co-ordinate and resolve customer issues efficiently. You’ll also be partly responsible for driving business improvements, liaising with supplies, internal and external sales to improve communications throughout the business. Key Responsibilities
- Being the first point of contact for customers who have a problem or technical question
- Responsible for continually updating our “House Account” status customers (e.g. small in spend, large in margin)
- Manage our customer order book status to inform and update all parties
- Communicating with production colleagues to improve delivery dates and our on-time schedules
- Respond to customer requests for POD
- Manage courier tracking details regarding goods in transit, update all interested customers
- Be the point of contact for warranty claims and manage Q log system, updating customers on outcomes
- Calculate the cost of poor quality and put into place corrective actions to reduce waste
- Be a leader on the project team when we migrate a new CRM system in 2022. Prepare our data for the project
- Work closely with the external sales team to support their enquiries and sales quoting process
- Be able to support input sales order and POs onto system
- Maintain knowledge of products and services, including features and benefits to discuss with clients
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience
- Experience of working with CRM systems
- Able to work alongside existing internal and external employees
- Technical and engineering work experience, or experience in a similar role is desired but not essential
- Ability to learn and understand new technology to effectively articulate the benefits to business improvement
- Good business acumen and an excellent communicator
- Confident, organised, and motivated
- Able to work well in a fast-paced environment
